About the Role*

As a Software Engineer in our EMEA Engineering Hub in Dublin you will:

Play a key part in the design and implementation of core services that will power the Supply Chain side of the business, such as; Catalog, Fulfilment, Inventory and Warehouse and much more

• Deliver reliable and scalable marketplace products
• Leverage data science and machine learning to provide intelligent and productive insights.

What you will be responsible for

• Local product, data and design teams to build and iterate on new products/features
• Design, develop, and build microservices.
• High quality code as part of an agile software team.
• Going above and beyond to improve the health of our platform, reducing technical debt, and increasing test coverage.

What you will need

• Software engineering experience
• The ability to solve complex problems and write high quality code
• Communication and collaboration skills needed to thrive in a cross-functional environment
• A strong desire to learn and develop
• Pride in your work and to hold yourself to a high standard

What we'd like

• Experience developing with a dynamic programming language. i.e. Ruby (preferred), Python, JavaScript, PHP
• Familiarity with any of the following frameworks, languages, and patterns (or similar) - Kafka, Ruby on Rails, Federated GraphQL, Vue.js, Kubernetes, Docker
